With my quarter century day of birth approaching, I formally dedicate this post to the glory of being a 90s baby. The years you predicted your future by playing Mash, the true meaning of “the struggle is real”: dial-up, and how long you kept your Tamagotchi alive was the true test of your responsibility. Cue the reset button.

I channeled my inner 90s baby with this super soft overall romper by Forever 21 paired with a simple pair of black espadrilles. This look would not be the same without the quintessential fashion accessory of the decade: the infamous tattoo choker. I chose a basic off-the-shoulder crop top from Brandy Melville and a pair of gold-toned sunnies from Quay Australia to complete this era-inspired ensemble.

As my 25th birthday approaches, I’ve taken time to reminisce on my early years of adolescence and the life experiences I’ve been through to get me where I am today. I love that trends evolve so quickly and memories of our childhood rise from the dead and thrive on the runway.
