The thermostat reads Fall is upon us and the end to summer is quite the bummer. Say hello to pumpkin spice lattes (I don’t even like these), sweater weather, and Christmas decor in November (I never understood this). Currently, I’m trying to keep warm wrapped in a blanket and forcing my dog to cuddle with me. It’s only 56 degrees outside, but for an LA native that “ish” is coooold.

I think the best thing about Fall (besides Halloween) is the fashion. There’s something about longline coats, layering knits and boots that get me feeling all types of warm and fuzzy inside. No pun intended. Fall fashion is extremely versatile and gives you plenty of options for styling multi-faceted outfits.

This transitional fall look features my favorite pair of overalls by Capulet Company. I get a ton of compliments on these, which always makes me feel good about a slightly costly purchase. It’s worth investing in pieces that are both unique and timeless because they last forever and can be worn season over season.

The great thing about overalls is that they can be paired with a crop top or V-neck short sleeve tee for warmer weather and a knit long sleeve top the colder season. For this look, I chose to style the jumper with a high neck crop top from Brandy Melville since the temperature still read summer this day. I finished the outfit with my vintage gold chain Chanel purse, black peep toe slingback pumps by Steve Madden, and my infamous wayfarer sunglasses by Quay Australia pictured in my welcome post.

Overall, I’m looking forward to cuffing…ahem…colder season because there’s so much to look forward to. Turkey Day and then the most blessed holiday of all, Christmas. Stay tuned for more Fall-inspired looks brought to you by Ynique.
