#TBT to one of the best weekends at Lightning in a Bottle with none other than my best friend Shannon Duke. I finally developed these photos from Memorial Day weekend and needless to say, it wasn’t my best line up. I wasted half of a disposable taking photos of…I don’t even know what. Thanks, Grey Goose.

The weekend was something special though. We embarked on a two day trip to Bradley, CA to attend our first ever Lightning in a Bottle and it was two days too short. There’s something about being cellphone service-less, in the middle of nowhere, listening to infectious beats with your future maid of honor AND little cousins (pictured).

The weather was hot, but the vibes were even hotter. We spent the weekend camping without running water, dancing our arses off and reminiscing on the past two years. But, most importantly: saying praise for what we have and how far we’ve come. One day, I may outgrow the whole music festival life, but for now I just choose them wisely.
