Call the bomb squad because Ynique is about to explode….with excitement. Why? Because I’m back in action! If you hadn’t noticed, I was MIA last week and I hereby swear this will not happen again. When you’re first starting a blog, consistency is key and missing a post last week caused extreme anxiety and high blood pressure. Just kidding. But it did make me kick myself in the butt.

I do my best to post weekly, a personal goal that I set out for myself, but it can get a little tough when you’re juggling a full time job, freelance work, a social life, and a healthy fit lifestyle. One thing I know is this outlet is extremely important to me and any lack of effort will be made up. With that being said, I’ve been shooting a ton of exciting stuff that I’m very excited to release in the upcoming weeks.

Now, onto the fashion. Bomber jackets are all the rage this season and I’m especially digging the length of this one. When you live in LA, seasons ain’t a thing, so you often find yourself pairing oxy morons in fashion form. Shorts and a long sleeve shirt or in this case, a grey marled knit dress and a military-inspired jacket from Forever 21.

My favorite part about Fall/Winter fashion is wearing boots, boots and more boots. I’m obsessed with thigh highs and these taupe leathers from Dolce Vita have done me good over the years. Its neutral coloring and soft, rich texture make them a timeless closet staple.

I kept it pretty simple in the accessories department with my vintage Chanel clutch and a simple pair of drop earrings as to not overpower the outfit. I practically wear these sunglasses in every post and as I write about them, I’m reminded that it’s time to get new ones. But, before I fall down the rabbit hole of online shopping, I wish you a fruitful and productive week ahead!
