The holidays are quite frankly the best time of the year. Family, food, and presents are just a few of the highlights; not to mention the endless amounts of parties pencilled in on your calendar. Only one problem: what to wear?
‘Tis the season to pull out your sparkle and jeweled tones from the back of your closet, but remember not to overdo it. Whether you’re ornamenting yourself with dangling crystal chandelier earrings or cocooning in luxury furs, faux or otherwise, the perfect balance between the glitz and glam is choosing simple, timeless silhouettes.
For this holiday look, I paired a classic emerald and onyx V-neck jumpsuit by Zara with diamond stud earrings. I chose muted H&M ankle-strapped stilettos and accessorized with the ultimate handbag, my quilted vintage Chanel. To channel 40s Hollywood glam, I went with voluminous curls and a side part along with my favorite red matte lipgloss by NYX.
There’s no end to creativity when it comes to dressing up for the holidays. From ugly Christmas sweaters to company cocktail attire, your outfit should stand out from the crowd…but, tastefully. When putting together a look, remember to complement bold with basic for an ensemble that is both effortless and chic.
